JUNE 15 and 16, 2019 - INTERMARITIME MATCH and BRITISH TEAM MATCH - RESULTS

"Here's pictures and scores from the Intermaritime Match. New Brunswick's score was 600-35 scaled up to 800-46. Nova Scotia's score was 798-63. Prince Edward Island's score was 774-55.

I don't have the British Team match scores. New Brunswick won that by a larger margin.

The Intermaritime and British Team Match were held in Nova Scotia this year. Team New Brunswick was formed by five NB shooters: Ken Kyle, Adam MacDonald, Perry Wright, Roly Trainer, and Ken Geddes. (Note that Gordon Holloway shot for New Brunswick in the British Team Match. ed.) In addition we recruited Ian Hogg from PEI, and wind coach Adam MacDonald. The scores from 6 shooters were scaled up to be equivalent to as if we had 8. We ended up squeaking out a victory by only 2 points! Wind was fairly light, but frequent small switches meant in order to not lose points we needed to make tiny adjustments based on the mirage on nearly every shot. It was challenging and a very fun time. We also had a great dinner at the Future Inn in Halifax. Thank you to Nova Scotia for hosting the match this year!"
