Match Director and Range Safety Officer for the Coleman-Stapleford was Conrad Leroux who sends the following report. Pictures, thanks to Adam MacDonald.
The weather was great for shooting for a match that consisted of 3 relays of 2 sighters plus 10 on score, all at 900 metres. A fourth range, which was not scored, was shot by all since there was plenty of time. The TR shooters conducted circle training on their target under the tutelage of Daniel Chisholm, while the FTR shooters shot on theirs in 2 relays of 3 shooters. With the electronic system working flawlessly, the match was conducted at a relaxed pace, within a prompt time period.
We were very happy to have two guests of Don Coleman from Quebec City: Gale Stewart and Nicolle Rossignol, who won the TR Class by a good margin. Congratulations to the winners and to all for a great shoot.
