SEPTEMBER 3, 2018 - FULLBORE EXECUTIVE MEETING

FULLBORE SECTION EXECUTIVE MEETING
SEPTEMBER 03, 2018
CFB GAGETOWN NB.


PRESENT:
Adam MacDonald, Chairman; Mark McMullin, Vice-Chairman; Don Coleman, Secretary; Ken Kyle, Treasurer; invitees Mark Cormier and Laura Kaderly.

1. AED - Laura Kaderly has priced the unit and Adam will forward this information to Ken Kyle to purchase.
2. Match Fees - Mark McMullin made a motion to reduce match fees from $25 to $20 to take place on 03 September.  Seconded by Ken Kyle. All in favour.
3. Guest Fees - Adam MacDonald will determine the number of guests we have had this year and arrange payment of $5.00 for each guest to the RNBRA to cover insurance. Guest fees will no longer be required has of 01 Sept 2018 due to RNBRA’s insurance policy change.
4. Wind Flags - Mark Cormier has purchased wind flags for his range and will loan the Fullbore Section one for evaluation. If the flags meet requirements the Fullbore Section will purchase new wind flags for the Batouche Range.
5. Power for the Fullbore Trailer at Batouche - The power has been cut off and Mark McMullin will investigate why this has occurred. If the power will not be turned on again then arrangement for generator hookup will be pursued, this action was passed in a previous Executive Meeting.
6. RNBRA Sign for the Fullbore Trailer  - Mark McMullin’s sister in law is a graphic designer who has tentatively agreed to design a sign. Laura Kaderly has graphic files of the RNBRA Logo and for the signs the RNBRA have produced. Mark will update the Fullbore Executive on the cost and design.
7. Paint the Trailer Floor - There are some holes in the floor made by mice which have to be repaired. The vinyl flooring has been removed from most of the trailer and needs to be removed from remainder. Then the trailer needs to be emptied and vacuumed before painting. Don Coleman will investigate the cost of 2 gallons of grey floor paint, rollers, paint tray. October 13’th is a tentative work date.
8. Target Shed - Targets used in the matches are very heavy and hard to transport if a truck is not available. We are unable to store targets at the butts as the building has been condemned . Mark McMullin will inquire if we can obtain permission to place a wooden target shed at the butts. Mark Cormier will obtain a price for a pre-built shed  and delivery. Estimated cost to be around $1300.
9. Target Frame Prototype - Target Frame design was discussed in an effort to reduce weight and increase rigidity. Mark Cormier and Ken Kyle will build a prototype wooden target frame for evaluation.
10. Fullbore Funding Proposal to the RNBRA - Funding is based on the following: Development of Technical Leadership in the form of Coaches and Range Safety Officers Developing a path to competition from the local to national levels.
Hosting local, regional and national shooting competitions.


In our proposal we should include the following for consideration:
a. Workshop to build and use a plot-o-matic, windreading - $500
b. Hosting the F-Class Eastern Championship in 2019. - $6000
c. Target Frames Development and Build of 8 target frames and new wind flag purchase. $2500
d. Individual Shooter Coaching from Intermediate to National Level  - We have decided to start a new program with the objective of providing focused training and skills development to a shooter willing to improve skills to the highest level and travel to Ottawa for National competitions. - $2000
e. Shooter Assistance Program - $2000.
f. Coaching - We hope to send a Fullbore member to a coaching course - $100                  
g. Travel to attend DCRA meetings - $300


Deferred to AGM - T-Shirts for presentations and purchase by members which to help promote the RNBRA and Fullbore Shooting.
